Thanks for an EXCELLENT guide! I didn't really try to get my fishing and cooking up until I hit level 60. It took me about 1 day to do it all!

Great guide! Just had a little input from the Alliance side.

Assuming you are at least level 50 and have all the flight points, the best route for the quest at 225 is as follows:

Theramore -> Thalanaar
Feathermoon Stronghold -> Nijel's Point
Nijel's Point -> Rachet -> Booty Bay
Rebel's Camp -> Nethergarde Keep
Darkshire -> Menethil Harbor -> Theramore (turn in).

Really nice guide, only thing I have to say is that when your at Scalebeard’s Cave remember that this is a area requires 330 in fishing. Maybe this has change since patches and Lich King and stuff. But if you fish from the shore line you should be able to do that when your skill in fishing hits 250.

Hey, nice work. Really appreciate the help here as I would of been a level 80 running all over Blizz country trying to level these two professions up.

Definately grab the Nightfin soup and the Redgill fillet as they were the only fish to pop for me other than oily blackmouth and a handful of other low level fish. I never saw one sunscale salmon pop and I fished it all over there. Have a good one.

Great guide - made my artisan fishing quest easy!

Artisan cooking, also a great guide, just one minor nitpick - not so sure about the high drop rates. The turtles at Steamwheedle had a VERY low drop rate for me this week, and the rocs just south of Gadgetzan weren't much better. Took me an hour and a half on turtles and 3 hours on rocs (and the hyenas and scorpids around them) with my level 41 character. Maybe the game has changed, or maybe it's a matter of luck, but I wouldn't promise a good drop rate.

This probably is the best guide of how to level fishing /cooking quickly. The other ones I've seen are mostly providing information regarding where to fish for what, but not a skill up guide like this. I've bookmarked this page :)

This guide is really good.. easy to follow hardly any money involved and you level two skills at once.
I do agree with the other comment at Cooking lvl 250 go buy the recipe for Filet of Redgill, Redgill seem to drop for me more than Sunscale Salmon.
Enjoy Fishing! =D

This guide is fantastic ive used it to level up two levels 70's cooking and fishing in a matter of days and i dont play that often:)

the instructions are easy to follow and good money to sell the stuff higher on in the list...

10/10

hey this guide is truly awesome i got up to 275 really quick and im working on 300 1 question are u planning on geting the cooking and fishing guide for Bc 375 i believe it is.

Also when you are in Felwood i advise u buy the recipe's for
Fillet of redgill - raw redgill
Cooked glossy mightfish-Raw glossy mightfish+soothing spice
Grilled squid - winter squid + soothing spice
Nightfin soup-raw nightfin snapper+refreshing spring water
as i was getting more of them then i was the sunscale salmon

happy fishing :)

'The Alterac Swiss is the easiest part. Go to the Inn in Goldshire, Elwynn Forest and buy them off of the Bartender. Hand them all in and you'll get your Artisan Cooking.'

You can buy them off of almost anyone that sells food. If you want to edit this, you can put in 'Pick up 20 Alterac Swiss from the Innkeeper there.' right after 'Now go to Southshore and speak to Lindea Rabonne and buy the recipes for Bristle Whisker Catfish and Mithril Head Trout.'

First of all, thanks for the great and free WoW Fishing Guide.

Guide was ok up till the Azshara part, then it had one minor flaw: the author wrote this part 'after' his lobotomy.

I highly recommend you do not head to Scalebeard's Cave until you can reach at least above 290 fishing. Case in point: I'm currently at 291 and am using a 75 lure. In excess of 50% of casts fail due to the stupid fish getting away.

I would have saved myself an inordinate amount of time just lvl'ing fishing in Org, and farming bears or doing the Silith thing for the cooking.
