I defenitly think that you should update to 3.3. However, once you reached honored with AD you no longer gain rep by just killing the mobs. If you want to do rep in conjunction with your grind pre 60 your best bang for your buck is to kill the undead in WPL and SAVE all stones until you're at least honored. Of couse you still gain faction rep at 60.
